Theresa’s May’s promise to cut ties with the European Court of Justice (ECJ) is likely to be a serious stumbling block when securing Britain’s safety post Brexit.
The UK will almost certainly have to implement the rulings of the ECJ as the price for maintaining a deep and comprehensive deal. Contributions to the EU budget will also be an inevitable part of any agreement.
