What a one eyed comment by Sterlo.
I hope he gets four weeks.

Well I can't see him getting anymore than 300k a season. The bloke is a machine but he's only one moderately severe injury away from retirement. I hope he plays on at the sharks but on less money so we can keep our younger players as well.
05/27/2017 at 00:56
He probably has a few years left in him if he still has Stephen Danks number in his phone
05/27/2017 at 03:34
Why don't you retire Gallen and free up some cap space so Cronulla can sign up some dud Souths players.

We can buy all these new players like the Warriors have to build this strong squad but just because it looks good on paper doesn't mean it will work well on the field I hope they do fire for us!
All the Best Lolohea , we know what your talents can do and a new club might spark that form back . For the Warriors to grant him a release was the best thing yous could of done . Young talent deserves to further his career be it with another club .
Still Warriors Hearty
That's 4 ex Warriors with an Ex Warriors coach who all played under Cleary when they made the GF . And living only a stones throw from Liechhartd oval I'll be going to watch they boys for sure

Another fantastic signing Cleary is certainly building a strong competitive team for next year and beyond. Everyone get on the bus 👏

Haha heighno is a bit of a loss as a club man and team morale more then anything. The guy seems like a great bloke to have around, but if a joker. Every team needs one. But he's getting on and as for Mortimer the blokes a dud so that's no great loss. Solid article zero tackle...pull ya heads in. Carrying on like we are losing gal and Lewis to super league.
Daniel Mortimer can't even get into the first grade side and Heighno is getting on and playing less minutes.

I remember the feeling of hopelessness I felt in 2000 when nsw won 56-16 in game 3, taking the series 3-0. The commentators predicted a 10 year dominance for nsw, saying that's how long it would take qld to claw their way back. Qld won the series the very next year and by 10 years time they were well into their reigning dynasty. Origin will always be important to Qlders, both players and fans, regardless of whether they're winning or losing.
05/25/2017 at 06:30
I reckon it's past it's used by date, it's not the pinnacle of the NRL because it excludes kiwis and the English etc. imagine if players like Burgess and Taumalolo were available. Re name it to State of allegiance. How many QLD and Nsw players are actually from those states anyway? Like Inglis, Thaiday etc.
05/25/2017 at 06:21
Country NSW gets right behind it and always has, but yes Sydney still seems to just have it as a passing thing in the calender. Maybe some domination would change that, but I'd doubt it.
