So easy when you are all sitting on side line....would be a different tune from you all if NSW won....yet another thing Queensland do better than NSW...they actually support their team...ps I'm a NSW supporter!!
06/23/2017 at 22:58
Yeah cause ya hogged it brah got one of the best winger's on the side aka Mr Morris and you fkn ran it ya self like a pig only to feintly flick pass it as you're being dragged over the line......

Why would you sledge a player like Fifita- who got a perfect 10 in Game 1- going into a decider? It's not like sledging Pearce, who can't walk the talk...
Did McGuire learn nothing from the last time he ran his mouth, or was he stuck in a meeting?
06/23/2017 at 10:14
Don't worry we won 1st game on there ground,we'll win game 3 there as well and watch all the Qld players cry to a stadium empty of maroon supporters haha that's what they do best with there passion they up n go home when they are losing. Backing you all the way BLUES go The blues
06/23/2017 at 08:27
Funny that they needed that game as a wake up call. They've had years of wake up calls. Should be well and truly awake to QLD comebacks and spirit by now. That 2nd half was poor....

As with all injuries, we wish Johnathan Thurston the best of recoveries.

Shame he wont be playing cause when we win you know qlders will say we didnt have thurston but all that aside i take my hat off to him he really is one of the greatest ever
06/23/2017 at 01:46
This is what happens when sports people are rushed back into the thick of battle without proper recuperation periods, take note just ask Billy Slater nearly 2 years out of the game, he has come back as good if not better than before the injury. Please note I am not a Maroons supporter.

It was a good performance Blues and also you did everything for the fan's no problem at all, we are happy despite all of the disappointment let's show that you can do it in the last and final decider .Good on ya Daly .
06/22/2017 at 10:38
Let's hope so Boyd Cordner one thing though don't back off like your team did in game 2 20 minutes before the end.
Never ever back off on a Queensland side they will get you every time.
And tell Jarod Haynes he is in a team and will take a team effort.
There no room for hogs and glory by him self.
If he wants to be a out side center then play like one and past the ball to your winger like a professional player.
He bombed 3 trys in game 2 looking for glory.
06/22/2017 at 09:38
You can do it guys..
2nd match is gone..
Do it like game 1, I believe you can.
Game 3 is ours to take, silence the Suncorp stadium
Well done guys & goodluck In game3

He will play. Qld will win at Suncorp him and gronk will go out on top. Its rigged to get bums on seats

I believe Queensland are going to try and have the state of origin played as wheel chair league so they can still play Thurston, Slater and others in the future. LOL
06/22/2017 at 08:20
I am a Blues supporter but I would hate to see such a great player like J.T. miss the final game. He is one of Our great players of the decades.
It seems to me that Queensland Spirit always prevails over The Blues
Why did Blues decided to stop attacking in the Second Half?
They have the players maybe they haven't the Coach?
Hayne has to go .

It's All R I G G ED ....Deliberately for $$$ ....it's a setup....every year....the money that goes into this game....is criminal...the sad thing is there are devout followers...the players know it's all set up...they're getting paid megabucks....told which games to win...which games to lose...been going on for years...everyone behind the scenes know....no loyalty...it's all about gambling....disgraceful....best thing is...no one turn up...then it'll hit their pockets! There's no respect! I've had enough...they think we're stupid...it's insulting....

Of course he should know. Still very gutted in that performance. But we will win the series up there. Play from the 1st second to the 80th minute. We need that 'never back down' attitude. I saw how distraught our captain looked lastnight but if anything, we can't do much about it because we ain't playing on the field. But still
06/22/2017 at 07:39
If you couldnt beat them at our grounds how in the hell do you think you can beat them at there's?? Blues you still have a chance but don't be to cocky!! Get rid of Haynes plenty out there that deserve the chance, and mighten stuff up as much as he did last night!!

It's okay the refs missed forward passes , people running into touch and chasers being taken out of play. So missing one tackle doesn't count for much
06/22/2017 at 05:44
You also got penalise for stripping the ball when we had them well pinned on their line. Allowing them to be i n position to score the try.
Always been a big fan of Wade but that was terrible.
06/22/2017 at 07:34
Whole team cam complacent, wades a great player, but when they all had to pull their heads in they didn't, too many forced passes, when we played simple we dominated
Queensland only beat us cause we let them, you still have the whole state and more behind you guys!

I think Cam Smith controlled the game and not the referees, like delaying the play the ball everytime he made a tackle but the reffs didnt mind giving a penalty... Queensland dont like quick fast games because they're too slow to chase, i think Mr. Checcin had a trainning session with them during the week.
06/22/2017 at 03:48
If tedesco was insde the last minute I guess gagai won't score..
But go blues game.3 still up👍

I dont know if anyone else noticed it but i was getting so frustrated with our defensive line in that second half when Thurston or Cronk had the ball our defence especially on the edges would back off and give them the space to do their things instead of getting up in there faces and shutting them down!
06/22/2017 at 02:09
Yeah keep talking. You mob will get absolutely hammered in game 3. What a disgraceful display of footy in the 2nd half last night! You let your state down; you let your fans down. Forget about the game 3 now.

Let's hope the refs are better when these guys get to 1st grade. Last nights fiasco in the second half was atrocious. If players are scrutinised for infractions and coaches fined for their comments, then the officials should be held in the same regard.
06/22/2017 at 03:11
well done guys this is what annoys me about origin football its all about the main game BUT these guys are the future of origin football & you dont hear about the wins 8 times in 10 yrs just as impressive as the main game except in reverse & in a lower grade but like I said its never talked about. Hope you can make it 3 nill in the next game & the Blues can make it 2 - 1 in the main game (y)

Mate, seriously. I'll bleed blue forever but the players are to blame not the refs. Hayne made like 5 errors. We didn't complete sets in the second half, we didn't attack. Poor kicking finishes. If it wasn't so tight, the calls the refs made would not have impacted the game. The players are responsible.
06/22/2017 at 00:14
Plain and simple the nrl want to make as much as they can off thurstons & cronks last origin match which happens to be at Suncorp
06/22/2017 at 00:13
Say what you want about Hayne. But why are the halves not controlling those last 20 minutes?? Pearce's kicking game dreadful in the last 20 an Maloney didn't want the pressure on his shoulders to close out the game ( didn't see him kick at much in the last 20) It's on there shoulders to get the team over the line. An again it failed!

I'm chucking the blame on a very greedy player, had Morris outside him, drew the winger, if he passes Morris scores... Jarryd Hayne cost us that match, go in a 22-6 and its game over simple
06/22/2017 at 00:26
Game time for Friz needs to go up, unless he got hurt idk, when he was on, all his runs were straight at JT and it kept him quiet, but when he was off Thurston dominated
06/21/2017 at 21:38
Great game last night guys(NSW Blues) ,..... just find out from yourselves what went wrong and pick yourselves up in game 3 cos you guys really got the Maroons on their toes last night ,..... Luv you guys and don't be discouraged get them in game 3

1. Get rid of Hayne
2. Start paying the refs more than Qld does (I tried to stay ppositive about them, but I mean seriosly, Gagai has white paint on his boots after 'not' stepping on touch line, twice a blue is taken out off the ball in front of a ref, forward pass after forward pass)
3. Work on 80 minute fitness
4. Get rid of Hayne
5. Get rid of Hayne
06/21/2017 at 20:41
Love how now if you can't kick you're allowed to just throw the ball to a bloke in front of you, or is that just Johnathan?
06/21/2017 at 21:10
1. Blues were never going to win coz NRL had made the deal to let qld win so they can make $$ in the 3rd game.
2. The commentators knew this as well which is why they did not pick apart the referee errors, like they do in club footy, especially Gus.
3. Players only found out about this arrangement at half time, and so the performance in 2nd half.
4. Refs need to be held accountable for their blatant efforts to let qld get into the game. But ofcourse this will not happen.
5. NRL is a disgrace.

With stints at both fullback and centre, Josh Dugan had a good showing.

Feeling ripped off, every critical decision in the second half including 3 forward passes by Qld went unchecked. Dugan gets taken out in the bomb situation and ended up as a tap restart for Qld. Slater cops a tap on the shoulder goes to ground penalty Qld. RORT.
Gus N Pat Cooper
06/22/2017 at 01:37
Thought Duges had a great game. Definitely some bad calls at crucial times. Although we did some stupid penalties. Also let smith run . We have to put him on his back every time he touches the ball. Also some late hits by both teams. Still don't see how they allowed the Old first try his foot definitely hit the line and why only one view why not a side on view, That is bad management from the bunker.. We will win the third game.
06/22/2017 at 01:18
that's right I forgot about the forward passes as well so New South Wales don't get a penalty for 35 minutes Queensland get a try off their first penalty straight away and it's not disallowed for the foot being on the touchline our Jarryd Hayne gets taken out by two players when he's trying to chase a ball on a kick that happened numerous times and as a result Queensland get a try rubbish rubbish rubbish refereeing just give my check in that Queensland jumper

Nsw need to do something about that glory seeking hog Hayne, twice he chose to take them on when he had Morris unmarked, only once he got away with it, then a lazy tackle one Gagai compleated his ordinary game.
06/21/2017 at 22:42
best ive seen klem play love it when he runs straight and HARD like that.. he was enourmous along with our back row
06/22/2017 at 03:41
Jackson was the best player on the field, Fatty reconds the man of the match should have gone to a Qs lander, obviously forgetting that nsw led right up to the death,, yea right Fatty.

Isn't it funny, more runs, more tackles, more metres yet nothing is said. But you throw a couple of forward passes and kick the ball out on the full, but kick the winning goal and your an immortal

Jacko should have been appointed captain always leads by example.Daley big error in replacing him and then Q'Ld got on top with a lot of help from Chekin but refs help the toads every year.

A WHOLE NEW BALL GAME
The series is on the line in Brisbane on Wednesday, 12 July for the decider - and we need your support.

Game 1. Bugger all ref involvement, better team dominated.
Game 2 - qld piggy backed to a win even throwing in an illegal try which in any other game would have been looked at frame by frame using 8 different camera angles. Tonight, one camera angle looked at for 3 seconds and even then there was solid conclusive evidence.
NRL gets their sold out decider, how much is that worth? Enough to rig a game i'd say.
06/21/2017 at 14:00
Gonna be tough.
No direction in the last 20 minutes. No one stood up and took control. Very disappointing. I'm sick of losing. We celebrated too early in Game 1 (Hayne jumping into the crowd etc). It's about time we learned how to finish off a series. Let's hope this game humbles us and we turn up for the full 80 minutes in game 3
06/21/2017 at 16:43
As a UK neutral. Looked like refs weren't interested in QLD forward passes or when QLD were taking NSW players out off the ball. Errors didn't help NSW in the 2nd half but looks like officials ensured it went to a decider.

Hayne plays for himself and his ego. Lost the game by bombing a certain try by not passing to unmarked Morris, throwing a terrible pass, missing other vital tackles and dropping the ball.
06/21/2017 at 14:50
Can't believe how many calls went Qld way, forward passes from the ruck and Thurston slipping over, players taken out off the ball, high shots showed Qld players metres in front, leaving early from play the ball and from scrums, a blind eye can can sway a game in your favour and QLD have had this luxury over the last decade. A call for neutral referees, ours are to influence by personal relationships, reputations and hopefully a ref from overseas can't be bought or influence
Geoffrey Owen Stanton
06/21/2017 at 15:29
The fix was on because ticket sales would be poor if game three was a dead rubber in Brisbane and we all know how the NRL look after QLD because once NSW start to get the better of them QLDERS turn off in droves.

What pure luck for the NRL that it goes to a decider in Queensland when two of the biggest names in the game retire. Almost a perfect sales pitch.
06/21/2017 at 13:08
I'm sick of the refs rorts, two forward passes by Qld go unchecked should have put nsw in good field position, also Dugan gets taken out at the bomb situation in the 60th minute instead tap restart to Qld. Am boycotting game three.

06/21/2017 at 12:46
Awful refereeing, QLD players just allowed to tackle NSW whenever they want, regardless of if they have the ball.
