Great to be involved with this today. We are all about protecting kiwi, and that's usually people but today it was the feathered kind. It's great that we can play a part in protecting kiwi numbers in New Zealand and establishing a population at SOSSI (Shakespear Open Sanctuary Society Inc).

Our Western Front contingent performed their last formal duty in Paris by taking part in the rekindling of the Eternal Flame ceremony at the base of The Arc De Triomphe, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. This ceremony has taken place every night since 11th November 1923. Our haka was then performed as a demonstration of respect. The contingent is now returning home.
