First trip to Orlando. So many feels. Do you remember your first visit?
We're ramping up efforts to keep you comfortable and more importantly, charged. Our additional comfy seats in the atrium area are in and will soon have power. Work to completely update gate seating is underway too. Much of the seating by gates 70-99 has been replaced, with USB ports and outlets in each new seat.
With four parallel runways, Orlando International Airport is one of only a few airports that can conduct three flight operations at the same time.
Providing options for our passengers with dietary restrictions is very important to us and we're striving to offer more. This recent blog post covers many of the gluten and dairy-free options available at MCO.

The 2016 stats are in and it was the busiest year in MCO history! We smashed records for international and overall passenger traffic, welcoming a total of nearly 42 million passengers, 5,592,710 of them international visitors. Thank you to all of our passengers and your support.

We caught Icelandair's Hekla Aurora 757 on its way out this evening. Flying with the beautiful colors of the Aurora Borealis both outside and in!
To help reduce waste, we've added stations to empty bottles near the security checkpoints. Empty pre-security and fill up post-security. Bottle filling stations now in every gate area near the restrooms.

Thanks to winter storms and cancelled flights in the Northeast U.S., our north ramp has quite the display today as these planes wait it out in the sun.

The latest aerial shots of our South Airport APM complex and 2,400-car parking garage show the serious progress of the exciting new addition. It is the largest LEED v4 project underway in Central Florida, the strict set of standards that focuses on green building and construction with minimal impact to the environment. In celebration of #BlackHistoryMonth, we've partnered with Crealdé School of Art to feature their 100 Years of Hannibal Square traveling exhibit, weaving the stories of this unique and proud Central Florida neighborhood together with African-American history and experience in general. The exhibit is located in the main terminal atrium (3rd floor) just past Starbucks.
