"Banish the Pre-dive class jitters". Are you talking to the students or us divemaster types? (Actually, I love it. It's very satisfying watching students discover the joy of diving!)

Maldives of course! Surrounded by huge nurse sharks and mantas💗

A number of years back when we were in Bonaire, I would usually do night dives on the house reef at Capt Don's. As I was swimming along, something BIG bumped me and shot past (a little freaky). It took me a minute to realize what was happening...several of the 6'+ tarpon had been following behind and using my light to hunt. When I'd hit some small fish with the light in front of me, they'd rush past me to feed on them. It was kind of creepy and exciting at the same time 😝

Sad thing is that on the Mayan riviera plastic is floating everywhere off he beaches and no one seems to give a damn. No garbage cans on the beach and no recycling program. In 30 minutes I had a large bag full of plastic bag chunks that were floating just off the beach in Puerto Morelos. When I brought it to the dive shop that was on the beach they didn't seem to really care. I explained a live turtle is worth more in tourist money than a dead turtle is to the fisherman.

I dived with basking sharks off Coll and Tiree in Scotland last year. An amazing experience being so close to these majestic creatures.

I had a pleasure of seeing this creature Baking Shark in Cornwall, quite regularly, They are such gentle giant of the ocean. Just beautiful.
