The biggest barrier to useful jet pack development is the weight of fuel. We have jet packs, but the reality is that they only work for about 30 seconds. Adding more fuel to prolong flight time would make the jet pack heavier, requiring even more fuel. Thirty seconds of flight time isn't enough to do anything other than look for a good place to land. Shooting yourself up into the air, knowing you only have 30 seconds to get back down, makes for a highly anxious, not pleasant, experience.

It was not a clock. It was a countdown timer. He knew exactly what impression it would give, so Ahmed and his Islamist activist father could cry victim. It's sad Popular Science does not properly research the facts surrounding this beat up. Still, you're far from alone, as most media were suckered

Is Popular Science really that stupid? What is next, 3d printed fake guns for kids? If you truly think there was nothing wrong with the fake briefcase bomb, you are part of the problem.

In some more hard-hitting news -- if you consume food, you'll likely have to poop which can lead to buying more and more toilet paper.
This can in turn lead to having less money. It's both tragic and unfair.
Life is stress and life is full of stressors. This is common knowledge. Why are they wasting time researching things we already know and can't change without anxiolytic medication or physical activity?

Explains my memory and depression both. Definitely been having issues I didn't have a couple years ago before the stress became unmanageable! Amazing how these things conspire.

Why Does White Noise Help People Sleep?

I can only fall asleep to noise. Silence is deafening to me. I hear weird frequencies and creaks and blips and patterns and it's awful. I can usually get away with a fan or AC, but I prefer a Netflix show or like a Disney movie I've already seen; no commercials, no spikes in volume, no plot to follow.
Nature docs help, too. David Attenborough lulls me to sleep, while also keeping me informed. It's great.

I sleep with a fan running since I'm child. If I can't sleep with the fan, I wake up very tired and take many hour to fall, and never dream. But with fan, it's great, I wake very refreshed and hand good dreams every time.
