Patients had the opportunity to learn and operate some high-tech gadgets used by the U.S. Navy. The team, based out of Naval Air Station North Island in Coronado, uses robots for high-level training. Thank you to the #USNavy members for sharing their knowledge with our patients.

Rady Children’s is helping educate parents on how to keep children safe from dog bites. In 2016, there were 457 dog bite cases reported in the emergency room and four urgent cares. Registered Nurse Kay Moore, who is also a dog trainer has some important safety tips on how to interact with a dog. Despite the rain this weekend more than 200 families participated in the annual NICU reunion Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego. Former patients reconnected with the neonatal teams who cared for them during their stays in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit as newborns. What a special day for everyone involved!
