Yesterday our respite home on the South Coast, Princess Marina House, played host to a very special birthday party as Britain's oldest Olympian & Bomber Command pilot, Bill Lucas, celebrated his 100th birthday. In December we featured a blog about Stanley Lavender (known to his friends as Sam) who was left housebound after suffering a stroke in 2014. We were able to provide Sam with a mobility scooter enabling him to regain his independence and visit his friends. Read the blog: [ Bit.ly Link ]
