The disc makes perfect sense.
It calms the front of the bike in strong winds, and will save him a lot of energy over the course of the route
07/25/2017 at 14:47
Never mind the disc wheel, that beard gonna be more of a hazard in cross winds

Jay Petervery set the route 66 record on similar setup with disc and gravel tyres.

Happens all the time. I'm sure drivers think I've got to get past that bike and as soon as they have switch off and cut us up.
No safety advertising campaigns aren't helping either.
People need educating

It does feel like you are not a proper cyclist until you have had this happen to you at least once. It happened to me the other day cycling through a quiet village when a Mini (almost as bad as Audis) overtook me and immediately turned left onto her driveway.
07/25/2017 at 12:41
This is how stupid and oblivious drivers are to safety of cyclists - I bet she would not like it if you got in a car and missed her kids by inches! - drivers leave at least a full meter width or more when passing please - the same as you do horses

I see these car companies coming out with bikes I think its stupid. I get using a car companies wind tunnels like @ Mclaren. I just don't think a car companies name belongs anywhere on a bicycle. Ferrari is known mostly because of it's superior hand built engines. A high end road bike is only has good has it's rider.

I met 3 people recently with various bad faults on their Bianchi road bikes. Frame production is China. Not even Taiwan! Can't believe some of the stories I was told when you look at the Bike cost to purchase. Seems they need to improve their quality control process.

If anyone in British Cycling or Sky was going all weepy because someone was saying they had a fat bum or needed to get their shit together then they shouldn't have been there in the first place. Success is about mental toughness. Discrimination, if it happened, is something different and should be treated separately.

I'm a bit of a leftie, but even I have to admit you don't win medals by being the mr nice guy. You have to be selfish and have a bit of a nasty side to win in sport.

Learn at once to get your knees as close to the bar as possible as you peddle, takes a few hundred k to get used to it but your hips back and legs will thank you for it on longer runs. I still see to many riders with their legs wide peddling .

Or maybe cyclists should learn to manoeuvre around them better? I've commuted by bicycle for 11 years in Nottingham, which has tram tracks all over the city. I've come off once because of them.

Why exactly is this video a bad thing? Some cyclists are bloody stupid, if we want others to act respectfully and responsibly then don't we have the same obligations?

I use to live in Melbourne Australia for a while and there is a major problem with exactly this. I had to use all my experience to avoid then. And had to bummy hope out of the tracks.
