If you want to hit your upper chest, I mean really work the upper pectorals hard, then give this modified incline press a try. It requires you to lift up the bar and lean back on an incline bench, while basically standing, and then press the bar from your upper chest (close to your clavicle bone), with a narrow grip (just less than shoulder width), up to full extension - and squeeze. Within today's chest workout, I really wanted to specifically focus on the upper (clavicular) region of the pectorals. This modified (somewhat standing) incline barbell presses - with a narrow grip, & real emphasis on the contraction, as well as the classic cable cross over movement, were two exercises in particular that really worked my upper chest hard! Had a great Back session today. After a series of weighted #chinups #rows and Seated rows, I hit some dual-handle close grip Pulldowns, which emphasized the inner back muscles more. As usual, check out my IG story for more on this.
