Legendary songwriter, poet and artist Leonard Cohen has died at the age of 82.
Since making his Royal Albert Hall debut on 10 May 1970, we were lucky to host the incomparable baritone-singer 12 more times here, most recently in November 2008.
It's autumn and it's beautiful!
Last night we hosted the world premiere performance of Jurassic World in Concert! Enthusiastic fans, some famous faces, and a giant dinosaur headed to the Hall to enjoy this epic nostalgia trip which left the audience of 5000 amazed, excited and at times a little tearful.

Tonight Jurassic World receives its world premiere and will be screened four times before Aliens is brought to our big screen with live orchestral accompaniment on Sunday.

Happy birthday Sir Cliff Richard, born on this day in 1940! We've enjoyed over 100 performances by Sir Cliff at the Hall since he made his debut in 1959, including a special 75th birthday concert last year.

Huge congratulations to Bob Dylan, who today became the first songwriter to win the Nobel Prize for Literature! We're proud to have hosted this legendary musician 12 times since he made his Hall debut in 1965.

This week the Hall will transform once more into Europe's largest cinema for our first film with live orchestra event of the autumn - Independence Day! Find out how we do it:
Experience the excitement inside the Hall for free today between 9.30am - 3.30pm as part of Open House, London's largest annual festival of architecture and design.
Access to the building will be granted on a first come basis, and entrance times may be staggered if demand is high
We've been closed this week while we give our beautiful old building some love and maintenance. Spruced and polished, we will be open to the public again tomorrow as part of Open House.
