They can shove those talons down hard using those long legs. They can impale and even break bones when they hit. Owls are notorious! A true raptor of silent ability.

But it's so angry on having its secret revealed, sorry Mr.Owl 😞

The Scientific Reason Men Think You're Into Them When You're Not

The biggest problem is that most men think if they get an erection when they look at a woman then they have to use it, period. I gave my Son a good long talking to over a period of years about that second brain he has and how not to let it run his life or ruin anyone else's.
04/29/2017 at 20:15
I don't want to hear THAT! I just "met" someone. lol. What about the scientific reason some men can't believe you're into them, when you ARE! Is there one of THOSE?
04/29/2017 at 21:19
Lol, I've never thought women were into me. My wife (of 20 awesome years) swears she flirted hard before I asked her out. Took me over a year because I was afraid she didn't like me. She said she couldn't have made it more obvious. I don't think I fit into this study lol

A study on the men who make these jokes reveals a very telling pattern.
Science Explains Why Some Guys Just Love Gay and Sexist Jokes

What if we make fun of everything like I do?the guys in 40 year old virgin made fun of everything,I love Coldplay but I still make fun of gays, jews, muslims,Libs, rednecks, blacks, men, women so now judge me?maybe some people don't take things so serious or literal...
04/29/2017 at 18:56
Correlation is not causation. Maybe more masculine males are just comfortable making gay jokes. I propose the less masculine or feminine males don't make those jokes as others will assume that it is a cover for actually being gay. People have been dividing "us and them" since the first formations of groups to assist in the division of labor and resources. I don't think chastising people for defining themselves is scientific thinking.
04/29/2017 at 20:36
ScienceDump change your name to Science Fiction. This study only had 166 people, no controls, and no follow up. I can find a similar study that says gay people cause cancer. Both are crap.

You have two hourglasses—one measures 7 minutes, and the other measures 4 minutes. Use these two hourglasses to measure 9 minutes.
Can You Solve The Hourglass Logic Puzzle?

All these solutions seem pretty complex. Run the 7 minute hourglass. When it's finished, start the 4 minute hour glass. When it is half empty, you have 9 minutes. The degree of accuracy is probably still the same as flipping the 7 minute and 4 minute hourglasses multiple times.
04/29/2017 at 15:58
Start both at the same time, turn the 4min one second time while 7min is still going. The 9min count only starts once the 7min has run out because there's 1 min left in the 4min hourglass. Then just keep turning the 4min two more times et voila! You have 9min in total
04/29/2017 at 15:52
start both at the same time.. after the 4 mins runs out we will still have 3 mins for the 7min one.. (so we got the first 3 mins).. then repeat same step two more times.. and we will be left with 6mins (3mins each time)..hence..3+3+3 = 9 mins (required)...
i dont know if its legit.. hope you get me.. correct me if i am wrong.

Much of what has been taught may well be fairy tales based on early theories that may have been wrong from the start. Such as negative and positive particles as the building block of science.

I can't imagine what would possibly go wrong with letting loose bugs that eat plastic in this world today. Perhaps the fact that half of everything that we use in modern society is made of plastic should give some pause to creating something that will eat plastic.
04/29/2017 at 14:53
Plastic is a more abundant food source then wax, thanks to us. If they actaully get anything nutritional out of it, they could evolve to prefer plastic... That could actually pose a problem instead of a solution.
04/29/2017 at 14:15
Until they end up eating something else that tastes better, then they're a problem. Like love bugs in Florida, supposed to eat mosquitoes, but found something tastier, and now are a massive cleanup project that will never go away.

I've got an old horseback riding helmet that is trashed due to a riding accident and I show it to people when they complain about having to wear helmets. Mine and a damn good protective horse saved me. Otherwise my head would've been crushed by an 1100 pound horse.

I have one more to add to the list; any medical problem i have ever had. Physicians can very rarely tell me exactly what is wrong when I go see them for a problem. Either they give me a list of possibilities, or some prescription drugs, and hope I get the fuck out of their office before I can ask a follow-up question that they can't answer.

This is what happens when you have ''pure thinkers'' in society who are completely divorced from any kind of manual labor or activity, they end up so separated from reality that they come up with BS; just like spoiled and sheltered rich people
04/29/2017 at 04:06
I understand what he's trying to convey, and I've had similar thoughts as a young man, but I came to the conclusion that these constructs don't make the idea of 'consciousness' any less real.
