Why did so many fish gather there though? More food? More sunlight? The felt a flow of water there and thought it's a new area to explore? Did they stay there long?

I can see it when I point my 8" Newtonian at a bright star or planet, rack the eyepiece out of focus and stick my hand at the front of the tube. It looks like smoke coming from my hand.

I've personally conducted this experiment using an 8" parabolic telescope mirror. The positioning of the razor blade is a little tricky, but once you get it, it's a fascinating experiment.

9 years difference has, does and will work for us. You forget the gap, it's a mute point after the first few dates. Science that!

A Negative Times A Negative Is...?

I always think it of it like this: If I am a business and have 3 people owing me $4, then I am owed $12 (3 x -4= -12). Now if I want to get rid of the 3 people that owed me $4, what would I have to have (-3 ((to get rid of the 3 people)) owing me $4 ((-$4) is -3 x -4=?). The answer is $12 is what I would need to get rid of 3 debtors owing me $4 apiece (So -3x-4=12). For me, thinking of it this way is a little easier to understand.

Why, by definition and common convention. Essentially (-) means about face, or go the other way. We agree that we always start counting to the right or positive direction. Why, just because we agreed to it. Now rewrite the eqation (-1)x (-1)x(3)x(4) by convetion we start going positive it says (about face)x (about face) 12.
