Take a look at the size of our newest rescue patient at SeaWorld Orlando!

That’s right: this 218 lb. loggerhead sea turtle just arrived after being rescued near Fort Pierce, FL. Stay tuned for future updates as we follow this rescue through the rehabilitation process.

Does anyone remember why this week marks an extra special anniversary?

We sure do! This week marked 20 years since the rescue of J.J. the gray whale. After she was stranded as a young calf in the waters near Los Angeles, SeaWorld San Diego came to the rescue. After 14 months of constant and caring rehabilitation, J.J. was safely released back into the ocean.
