Fact: It will be a miracle if we ever see a Spider-Man film as good as Raimi and Maguire's Spider-Man 2. Ever.

"A Sony e-mail hack revealed that Garfield got fired because he insulted Sony chief Kaz Hirai by snubbing him at a big gala celebrating the end of the World Cup. Hirai was planning on introducing Garfield as the star of “The Amazing Spider-Man 3” in a speech before 750 guests, but Garfield never came down for dinner, much to Sony’s consternation. Hirai then fired Garfield and cancelled the next film. Overreaction, much?"

"The scene in 2002’s “Spider-Man” where Peter Parker catches Mary Jane’s lunch on a tray didn’t involve any CGI or camera tricks. Toby Maguire actually performed the trick as seen on screen. It took 156 takes."

i didnt really like supes at first but once you learn the full scope of his power got to respect him also i am huge fan of marvel and DC because i am more about superheroes and less about whp made them
03/25/2017 at 03:56
I remember reading this article forever ago. If you accept alternate universe Superman's that are depowered and dumb, non-cannon comics with characters who are completely out of character, and exceedingly broad and loose terms for "beaten" then sure. ;)

Ok.... so this immortal being has been killed so many times..... how does he keep coming back? (You are right to assume ive never read a comic book in my life but i totally respect their greatness in art, story telling and massively diverse fanbase!)

Why would you try to steal my superhero idea by showing a picture of the past? I know you are wanting to time travel by having people tell you that you're young and wanting to multi-verse and leave us behind.

Thanks to Stan Lee that's what I'm doing as a Stan Lee Foundation Artist, making a universe of new characters and stories to help others, while striving for "Great Things!" as he said, in order to make him proud and as a thank you for his gracious encouragement and inspiring example.
Stan, thank you for offering to read my Stan Lee Foundation interview when I saw you last at Emerald City Comicon, 2017, in Seattle.
03/24/2017 at 18:56
I don't know if this is actually you Mr. Lee, but i've written in an amateur capacity for all of my life..not easy to make a universe that others enjoy..you have a gift that is rare..thank you for sharing that with us..it's give me personally many years of enjoyment.

I met Stan Lee a couple of years ago, and not too long ago I completed meeting all the original KISS line-up. Everybody was awesome in person! 😁
03/24/2017 at 12:09
I like how 3/4ths of KISS is acting like "Hell yeah, we're bada$$! Stan Lee wants to pose with us!" Meanwhile, Peter Criss is extactic with a look of "OMG!!! I"M POSING WITH STAN LEE!!! THIS IS AWESOME!!!"

I'm lucky enough to have this poster (signed by Stan Lee) and the MK1. I love the story of how "Iron Man" was a bet that you couldn't create a hero that had all the qualities that were considered unappealing, like a weapons dealer, a millionaire, a drunk and a womanizer. You won that bet sir and we are all happy for that little fun fact. 'nuff said

A true classic my friend ! Amazing how this character had grown over the years! My daughter was thrilled with the 2nd Stan Lee box (she is in the hospital and it made her day!) For some reason teaching her to read with Spider-Man books had a weird effect in her ! Ha, thanks for making her smile

We have a copy of this comic, it isn't in mint condition but it's in great shape, my dad bought a box of comics for liken $5 back in the day and that comic was in the box

This girl being bullied? Dude these day have no concept of beautiful. That girl ain't ugly! Vitiligo or not!

Outstanding! I also saw a story yesterday about a dog called Rowdy who has this condition and his owners take him to meet children with that also have it so they can see it's ok and not to be embarrassed.
There are enough things in this world to feel bad about, how we look shouldn't be one of them. :)

why would you want to CGI? That mustache looks magical!

OK Superhero authority, tell me this: after 2 seasons of Daredevil episodes, I have to wonder - does this guy EVER sleep? The only time they showed him briefly (once) in bed, it was with a woman...If he's not doing his day stint as lawyer, he's getting the shit kicked out of him all night...

The rich are generally too busy looking for new ways to steal from you to return any money that you foolishly lost. That's why you're poor, loser (or so goes their thinking).
03/21/2017 at 23:00
Your mailbag is on the wrong shoulder tho. Directors always want the logo to show, but in real life, letter carriers generally carry the bag on the left shoulder. (retired letter carrier)

The person who has more virtue. It doesn't matter if you're rich or poor, it would all come down to how your parents (whoever brought you up) instilled values on you and how much of it actually sticked.

I'll tell you this. My 86 year old grandmother doesn't laugh much when it comes to movies or tv shows.
In addition to that it's taken years for her to adjust to profanity in movies and tv.
When Chris said, 'They got my dick message!'
She laughed harder than I think I've ever hear her laugh.

Haha my Son is a huge fan of Batman and I am a Spider-man fan. I tried my best to get him to like Spider-man but he loves Batman. He is 4yrs old and we have had many Batman vs Spider-man arguements. He has even said when he becomes Batman when he gets older I can be the guy who brings him food. So I'll be his Alfred I guess. Heck if he's living in a Mansion I wouldn't mind that :)
03/21/2017 at 15:05
Too bad Stan Lee never created Batman it was Bob Kane and Bill Finger.
