Janeway, she teach us to never give up against the powerful ones and focus on black cofee nebulas. And Picard too, he was the perfect representation of a Rennaissance man!
02/26/2017 at 14:10
I will be the first to say Archer the most original captain he had to constantly adapt, also negociate without guidelines based on previous encounters also he is one of the main reason Starfleet exists later on.
P.S Let the hate begin :))

Sisko. He punched a god, fought gods (well, the Vorta considered the Founders gods, anyway) and was best pals with gods. He was God Mode personified :)

I'm watching season 3 right now. Deep into the xindi. Just watched the one where they had to grow a clone of trip to save him. That's a very intense EP.
couldn't do much with Romulans because they hadn't met face-to-face until TOS. Xindi were different. They were better than the Sulaban. Prequels are really hard to do. Similar failure in Caprica...
I remember an interview with Scott Bakula talking about the Xindi story arch, and how he felt it was the primary reason that led to the shows cancellation. I really enjoyed the first 2 seasons and felt they were right in line with the shows premise, but the Xindi arch didnt follow the premise of exploration, it was a substitute to throw more action in.

Has the captain of that Galaxy class gone rogue? Or was the ship captured by half a dozen ferengi with a couple of Birds of Prey?

These are all stupid. The Star Trek franchise had/has so much gaming potential, but you keep HALF-ASSING your games!

I'm actually going through DS9 for the first time, and this was a really stellar development of an already interesting character. Great episode!
I liked it but heard Alexander Siddig originally didn't as he felt they were trying to turn him into DS9's Data. Cool to meet Bashir's parents though!

Lovely actress...she should have had a bigger role than she did in B5. Me and my girlfriend always look at at each other smiling excitedly when we come across her in whatever series or movie. We're fans, kind of, I guess. :-)
Cool. I actually had the good fortune to interview Ms Vander when she guested on a Xena Episode (Season 5 I think - one of Athena's generals who had the misfortune to go up against Xena); it was somewhat of a brief encounter, but she certainly seemed wonderfully enthusiastic and energetic about the roles she was playing.
02/24/2017 at 18:28
She's actually a great actress who's just as good as she is beautiful, too bad she had one of the worst lines in Mortal Kombat Annihilation.

But he's not a barkeep. He's a host, a proprietor, a sympathetic ear to the wretched souls who pass through these portals.

Scotty of course. He could even start his own barfights. What more could you ask for.

Guinan for me. As the barkeeper in the last episode of Quantum Leap put it "A good bartender has to be part philosopher, part psychiatrist, part psychic."

I had the privilege of meeting Kate Mulgrew at a Voyager con at the Norbrek Castle Blackpool in the uk. She stayed and signed for every fan that wanted one, she was very gracious. None of us escapes ageing and who knows she may be taking medication that can make you gain weight. If I get the chance to meet her again I'd be absolutely delighted and if you truly are a fan of Star Trek in all it's incarnations you'll know what I.D.I.C means and I for one live by it!
02/23/2017 at 23:19
I like to have a panel with Ira Behr and Brannon Braga and have fans ask why Braga failed with developing all the characters with the Voyager series including getting secondary characters developed, and why the series just flat out got bad as the seasons progressed compared to DS9.

"The Final Reflection" is arguably the best Star Trek novel I have read and certainly had the most thought-out treatment of the Klingons.
That book should be on anyone's "10 Best" list.
02/23/2017 at 21:49
I wish someone would write a novel (or series of books) about the Klingon war from "Yesterday's Enterprise." My favorite book is Final Frontier by Diane Carey. The main character is Jim Kirk's father.

Reading a goodie right now, "Federation" by Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens....you can also get the entire original series in one book now

Going back and watching old TNG episodes, I realized how much I disliked the silver fish design of the Enterprise-D. It just never looked realistic to me. I'll take the original series Starfleet ships (or the NX-01) over that any day.

Happy Birthday Jeri Ryan 🎂🎉💥
I love the scene when she's in the Captain Proton holonovel and when the robot attacks she just says "I am Borg" and yanks it's wires out, much to the chagrin of Harry and Tom.
02/22/2017 at 18:27
Thank you Jeri Ryan, for almost saving Voyager from its directionless, terrible writing. Your character was good, and you played her well.
02/22/2017 at 23:13
I remember her from the Miss America pageant. She sang "On My Own" from Les Mis in the talent competition. That information takes up valuable brain space where I was supposed to remember something else.

Of the many actors and actresses who have provided entertainment and influenced my life through the years, Leonard Nimoy's Spock has been one of the most impacting. Though he was a fictional alien character, his humanity always bled through and it is by no small feat this was done through the talents of the actual human. #LLAP

Federation? Klingons? There wasn't even a Coalition of Planets and you talk about Federation? It was between the Andorians and Tellarites at first then it added the Vulcans and the Humans
02/22/2017 at 01:24
No federation yet that's true but also I remember that episode and I do not remember Klingons in this episode but I do remember Romulans, Tellarites Vulcans and Andorians
And that was Romulans by imitating Tellarites and Andorians and attacking them.
02/22/2017 at 01:21
technically the question is who was trying to provoke a conflict between Klingon's and human, because at this point Federation did not exist yet, Federation was founded in the last episode of the Enterprise tv series

DC can't make it on their own. They need help somewhere. The Marvel universe is much more lucrative. I still wouldn't want a Star Trek/Marvel crossover either.
02/21/2017 at 23:48
For everyone complaining why do you care? This is set in one of the parallel universes of Star Trek, it is fun for fans of superheroes and crossovers. It has no effect on the ongoing Star Trek comic or the Green Lantern comics. So if not your thing very easy to ignore since it will have no effect than any of the other books. And it's there for the fans that will enjoy it.
02/22/2017 at 21:28
I just can't imagine a universe where star trek and the lantern corps would be a good idea. The corps are all super powered. How can the trek cast provide anything meaningful?
