The best parts of my teenage years were reading D.C.'s novels. Having the pictures of this remarkable universe described so vividly in words helped me to imagine far away worlds and races Happy birthday and thanks for sharing your vision with us.

Happy Birthday, D.C. I remember when I found out D.C. Fontana was a woman! I was surprised, and proud. I'm way old and remember how it was back then. You are an inspiration and a star in my book!! Many more good birthdays!!!

Happy birthday. And thanks for all of your contributions to Trek. You helped make it what is today.

"Look into my eyes, look into my eyes, the eyes, the eyes, not around the eyes, don't look around my eyes, look into my eyes, you're under. I have not been taking your underwear home, putting it on in my bedroom and then parading up and down in front of the mirror going 'Oh, oh, oh, oh'. Three, two, one... You're back in the room."

When this ep first aired, I considered it Voyagers "jump the shark" moment
03/25/2017 at 03:37
Anytime a tv show does a boxing episode, it's time for me to find a different show to watch.
03/25/2017 at 01:24
Could have easily done without Chakotay, Wesley or Guinan. For that matter could have done without Voyager.

Loved this show but not sure i could watch re runs as whoopi now is so full of hatred of any one who thinks differently than her.

Goldberg shouldn't be nominated for anything. If a white person showed the kind of racism and intolerance she shows on a regular basis, they'd be in jail.

Whoopi shows just how Ignorant, Biased, and Hateful she is on the View. Proof there are still too many Brain Dead Progressives watching that drivel

That's an interesting picture of Steven Culp to use. From a deleted Nemesis scene instead of his more widely known and regarded role as Major Hayes on ENT.

Ah, the use of special effects cosmetics to recycle actors. He's not the only actor to play many different parts. That character, Red, the father in the TV show, "That 70's Show. I've seen him do multiple different Trek characters.

As the Mayor in Buffy he managed to pull of a great relationship with Faith without making it creepy at all, which is amazing given the nature of the character.

Was he not one of the hospital administrators in the TNG episode "First Contact"? I believe he took a swing at Riker when he tried to escape.

I remember when this first aired and after the first time the Enterprise blows up and it starts over again, we're like uh? Did they mess up at the TV station? They're starting over again...

This is the first episode that I cracked up laughing. It happened when Worf was playing poker and Riker did a higher bid than Worf was anticipating.
He got so disgusted and started mumbling under his breath like he was a villain on a Looney Tunes cartoon. Haha...
03/23/2017 at 17:09
I would like to have seen this guy appear again, maybe in DS9, as the Captain of a more advanced ship, such as an Intrepid or Akira class ship. And maybe the USS Bozeman could be a museum ship.

Star Trek has always made me feel better about humanity and being a human in general. Jim really knows how to see the light in humanity whilst I have a hard time to do that. 💞

And yet, our present government is doing away with the National Endowment for the Arts............Star Trek has always been about the good, and honor, and protecting our freedoms. There ya go.

Happy Birthday to you, my Captain, my Captain! Thank you, William Shatner, for so many years of wonderful you. My favorite role of yours will ALWAYS be James Tiberius Kirk. You've made me laugh and cry thru the years. Here's to many more wonderful years. I hope this day brings you lots of love, laughter and surprises. You deserve it all!

I dont want to read the whole article, why is it the Phillies? And also to resound the first comment why isnt it a Sisko bobblehead? Picard couldnt give two shits about baseball
03/21/2017 at 19:51
The Phillies should have known better than to try to appeal to ST fans, all they do is complain! LOL. I'd be happy to go to a baseball game in honor of TNG.
03/21/2017 at 19:10
Need to do one for Capt. Sisko, who actually was a baseball fan.

Which Ferengi traditions did you find the most interesting?

Because of them, I and my nerd crew never say "human", only "hyooo mahn".
03/21/2017 at 14:23
When a ferengi dies, they auction off their bodies in 52 "discs" to the highest bidder so that people can have a piece of them to display.
Nothing says loving like a slab of uncle quark on your desk!
03/21/2017 at 14:12
Not a tradition but I like the idea of portraying Ferengenar as a planet where it rains constantly. I don't think that's ever been done before. Maybe the writer was English!
Twenty-eight years ago today, we watched Picard and his crew beam down to Iconia in efforts to save the Enterprise.

Taris: I cannot deactivate the auto-destruct, but at least I have the satisfaction that you will die with us.
Picard: Not, I think, today, Commander.
03/21/2017 at 00:59
Predestination paradox. The Iconians destroyed Romulus because Sela murdered some of them in the past when they thought she was helping them escape. Sela only betrayed them because they destroyed Romulus in the future. Oops.
03/21/2017 at 03:16
One of my favourite episodes. The part where Picard tries to stop Data from rambling on the words of the language that he leant is very funny. And later when Data says blue blue blue , Picard says " I hope that's not a stutter ".🙂

Q.... That's an entity I absolutely loved to hate to love! ^_^ Absolutely the best character in Star Trek, and also the most annoying! :D Official John de Lancie did the role so amazingly well! =D

love this man, he is the coolest antagonist in my opinion next of course to Ricardo Montalban as Kahn, John you are truly an inspiration my good sir... I take honor in wishing you a very Happy Birthday and that you receive many many more to come
