I LOVE Star Trek the original series!!
Captain KIRK(Shatner version) was , is , and always will be "THE MAN"!!
Every woman was smoking hot. And scantily clad, and KIRK taught them all to love!!
ALL HAIL CAPTAIN KIRK!
Still love the last part when Kirk was looking at Spock and said," Is there anyone on this ship who even remotely looks like Satan?" Lol.

One of the weakest episodes. The low point of season 2 for me, it's really just an inferior remake of the first season episode Return Of The Archons.

Anyone that says William Shatner can't act.
CAN SUCK IT!!
If you can watch the last 20 minutes of Warth of Khan and not get choked up by Shatner's eulogy, then go watch sponge Bob!

Kirk: Yes old friend.
Spock: this might be just the radiation speaking but I think we should have listened to Kirstie Alley earlier in this movie.

What is your favorite Trek bar and what would you order?

The best Trek Bar is certainly QUARKS, one cant even argue that.
I would order Romulan Ale (since the embargo ended after the Dominion war)
04/25/2017 at 14:47
Quarks. I actually went to the one in Vegas when the Star Trek Experience was there. I had a Romulan Ale. Surprisingly, it tasted a lot like a popular light or lite beer that was dyed blue. 😎😊
04/25/2017 at 16:24
I would say Quark's and order a Romulan ale, but I'm sure I would be way over charged. I have it on good authority from a Klingon that the prune juice in Ten Forward is a true warrior's drink.

Borg do not assimilate every sentient being they encounter. In "Mortal Coil," Seven of Nine stated that Borg did not assimilate the Kazon, they were "unworthy" of assimilation
04/25/2017 at 11:36
Seldom have I read an article that tells you so little about it's subject. What was the point of that? It basically said, "the Borg have a catchphrase, fly around in a cube and all dress the same. Thanks for that! 🙄
04/25/2017 at 08:18
I actually just finished watching Mortal Coil, and man i love and fear the borg more and more everytime i watch an episode where they're featured.
"The kazon werent worthy of assimilation" 😂😂😂😂

Fill in the blanks: T'Pol was surprised to find herself enjoying the movie: _______ because she saw it as a parallel to ___________.

I always felt that the T'Pol character should have been T'Pau, a young version of the character from TOS episode, Amok time and the Matriarch of Spock's family. Her relationship with Trip would have been consistent with that of Sarek with Amanda and Perin.

One of the greatest Star Trek Things to happen for me was Nichelle Nichols getting one of my Canes and a Walking Staff..Was told by her it is hanging on her wall.. She is Truly an Amazing person and such a great Painting of her..

I saw this recently and it was wonderful. I shed a tear or two, laughed and realized how much this one man meant to the world.

"The Journey Home" was a brilliant Nimoy vehicle for species extinction awareness, as relayed with the humpback whales. Thank you, Leonard. We miss you & your specials.
04/22/2017 at 23:57
The first Nimoy documentary -- the one with the George Takei and snippet on a homosexual fantasy angle with Kirk and Spock? Oh, my. Did they really have to go boldly there?

This Star Trek movie is so great. I feel like there are so many lines I still say in everyday situations. Like this past week I forgot my bus pass and I just wanted to say what does it mean exact change?

"You wanna know what my vision is? Dollar signs, money! I didn't build this ship to usher in a new era for humanity. You think I wanna see the stars? I don't even like to fly! I take trains! I built this ship so I could retire to some tropical island... filled with....naked women. THAT'S Zefram Cochrane. THAT'S his vision. This other guy you keep talking about, this historical figure? I never met him. I can't imagine I ever will."

You know what's funny about James Cromwell , he played a Vice President of the US in deep impact and then played a president of the US in The Sum of all fears
Both by ,paramount pictures
04/21/2017 at 19:57
He built Earth's first warp ship, the Phoenix, in the hope its success would prove profitable and allow him to retire to a tropical island filled with naked women. :-D 3:)

You're all stupid. Just wish the guy a happy birthday and move on. No need to argue because you don't like the president, or politics, or actors who are to political. He played a great character in a great series its his birthday. Happy birthday sir.

Happy birthday, Mr. Takei! I admire you greatly, not just as an actor, but as a man with strong convictions and an advocate for equality and human rights. Thank you for always taking a stand.
04/20/2017 at 14:28
George Takei is fighting to make the world like Star Trek in the future.
"Oh man George Takei doesn't like racism or sexism he's a horrible person" that's what you all sound like. It's like you guys watched Star Trek and missed the point completely. I mean why did you even watch it? The Star Trek universe is a liberal one aren't you all against that.

I loved this episode! This episode was a great example of when Star Trek did something lighter, almost comedy, well; it was subtle. The cast really shines in this episode. I recently read that D.C. Fontana was brought on to lighten Voyager up a little and she did an excellent job here!
Wasn't she the female Vorta in The Ship? Loved the guest cast of DS9, many were just as (or even more!) interesting than the regular cast. 👍👌

I'd pay $10 for a photo with Takei, but only if he is wearing a MAGA hat and a Hillary For Prison shirt...
Shatner is the only Trek actor I'd like to meet at this point because he knows to keep his mouth shut regarding politics. Clearly the Trek fan base is divided in half regarding political views much like the country. But unfortunately these actors feel the need to use their 'status' in an attempt to influence people to their views. I HATE IT.
There you go Star Trek...besides one delusional snowflake below my first comment everyone here hates George takai. You should cancel his appearance

How about new books with the Kelvin timeline instead of comics? You need to learn from Disney. They know to keep the Star Wars books and audiobooks coming.

Did Star Trek ever meet Lovecraftian horrors like the Cthulu cult? Might be interesting to see ST face true sentient evil which cannot be reasoned with. Would the 'live and let live' ethos accidently allow something truly terrible to unleash itself upon an unsuspecting universe?
I do not see how and why is Fan Fiction recognized by the official Star Trek owners and producers...

'You Klingon bastard, you killed my son.'
No, wait, that's not right...
When I read this description, next to "romantic comedy", I IMMEDIATELY hoped this was gonna feature Kirk and Kruge kissing.
I'm disappointed, yet not disappointed at the same time. It still sounds fantastic!
...still want to see Kirk kissing a Klingon, though.
Last words Kirk said to Kruge? " I have HAD - about enOUGH- of YOU!
