Raglan Point Boardriders rack up four national title holders in their team for the @Hurley Club Champs at Whangamata this weekend! Chris Malone (below) is the senior with Billy Stairmand and Luke Hughes in the Open, Caleb Cutmore in the Juniors and Brie Bennett in the Women's.
Waihi Beach Boardriders have a huge number of juniors coming through their ranks and competing on the NZ Grom Series. That is reflected in their team for the Hurley NZ Club Champs this weekend, ably led by Levi Stewart (pictured below) also including Ben Young, Peter Rogers and Thomas Carter, Callum Mepsted, Ayrton Yarrell and Jasmine Comrie all taking part.

Lion Rock Board Riders Club is lining up a solid mix of surfers for the Hurley NZ Club Champs this weekend captained by New Zealand representative Zen Wallis and including Tane Wallis, Morgan Cronin, Gabi Paul and Cassidy Mann.
The host Whangamata Boardriders have the services of Ella Williams for the Hurley NZ Club Champs this weekend, fresh bs k from competing overseas. Ella is joined by Braedon Williams, Gauranga Ormond, Reuben Fleetwood and Ben Kennings.
Bay Boardriders have put in two strong teams for this weekends Hurley NZ Club Champs! Team Reo - headlined by Alex Dive and Matt Hewitt in the Open, Tiana Breeze de Mooij in the Women's and Callum Chuter in the Juniors.

Their second team called Team Mako is Owen Barnes, Jonas Tawharu, Kelly Peake, Elin Tawharu and Travis McCoy. Such is the depth of the club.

Kelston Intermediate joined our team of instructors at Piha yesterday for the final week of the Foundation North Have a Go Surfing Days. This project has seen over 20 schools from Ahipara in the Far North and Auckland attend the SNZ Wave Warriors Program.
