Teresa and Stephen from Killarney were over the moon when their beautiful little girl Alexis came into the world ten months ago.

However, their world was rocked four months ago when Alexis was diagnosed with a rare metabolic condition, which can lead to serious complications. She is now a regular patient, being treated here in Temple Street's metabolic unit.

This day twelve years ago, Jack O'Brien received the kidney transplant that would change his life. He was born with congenital nephrotic syndrome - a form of kidney failure with no cure. The Helix panto has worked its special magic to raise over €11,000 for Temple Street!
