School vouchers will only exacerbate the problem. Private schools have no requirement to accept special education students, and their teachers are often not trained to handle these students.

Then he needs to wake up and recognize that Hollywood won't come as long as he keeps persecuting transgender people. Like the NFL and the NBA, film makers refuse to do business with bigots. Sit down, Mr. Patrick, and shut up.

Yet again our state economic policy is limited to bribing existing, profitible companies to momentarily grace us with their presence, rather than actually investing in the infrastructure (educational, financial, logisitical, etc.) that will allow Texans to build new companies and industries to compete with them.

Lol! The fool has no idea what it would take for Texas to even draw more movies here--let alone become the Hollywood is the Bible belt
"Come hell or Highwater" lost to a movie about a gay black man for best picture-- Patricks idiot brain can't even grasp those concepts--

This is the fault of UIL and the Texas superintendents who voted the "birth certificate" rule into place. The rule is out of line with other wrestling organizations rules. He wanted to wrestle with boys but UIL made him wrestle with girls. UIL and our superintendents were short sighted when they passed this rule.
So they scream that they should use the birth certificate. Then when they do they scream he was allowed to play.... it's not about birth certificates or testosterone, like it wasn't about water fountains with black people. Sounds more like a bigot talking.
Unfair, shame, blaming everyone, but how about the transgendered boy who already faces a life of discrimination (hint #1 that should make it clear these things are not choices) is being spotlighted in such a way for something he didn't choose, and now gets to see a bunch of people talking about him and acting like he's not even a human?

As a born & bred Texan (who spent her formative years everywhere from VA-FL-CT-NY) this strikes a chord I don't quite understand. Being fiercely proud of my state while watching an "outsider" capture our reality is jarring. And maybe necessary. Maybe more necessary now than ever.

This man stays true to who he is and refuses to change and that's what makes him great. I love that he plays smaller venues and meets with fans after his shows. He's so down to earth and his songs have real meaning behind them.

I am so looking forward to voting Ted Cruz out of office next year. He has been the worst Senator Texas has ever sent to DC, doing nothing for the people of Texas while he tries to raise his own profile so he could run for President. Texans must unite next year to elect someone who actually wants to represent US.

Before all the butthurt leftists living in the wrong state throw a hissyfit on here about "assassination," prior yesterday, Ginsburg had talked about retirement as has Kennedy. The rumor on the hill is that Kennedy has been waiting to see how Trump replaced Scalia before he retires or not. Kennedy, apparently, is in not so good of health.

These mothers have good reasons for no longer continuing to vaccinate. Vaccine injuries are real and grossly under reported. Many children develop seizure disorders, food allergies, autoimmune issues all after vaccination. Check out VAERS.

Fear mongering propaganda to push Sarah Davis' legislation...easiest way to control the people: entice fear and you can get them to vote away their freedoms one by one until they eventually have none left. Wake up! This fear mongering is all HYPOTHETICAL. It hasn't happened, much like the imminent Zika outbreak Hotez predicted that didn't happen either🙄🙄

This wouldn't be a a problem if all parents got together to make these vaccines safer. They're not one size fits all and Most of the time don't work. We have better hand washing, we bathe in clean water, we know how germs spread so we are cleaner about food products and etc. when children stop becoming injured or sick from vaccines is when more people will trust them again!

TM used to be one of my favorite magazines to read, now i just throw them away without even opening and reading. Ive cancelled my subscription and cant wait to stop receiving them. When you get back to reporting on the best state, let us know. As far as the uneducated protesters, get a life and a job. Contribute to society and yourself. The handouts are finally coming to an end. Realize you are a puppet.

They not only trashed the land but the pipeline doesnt even go through their land. All the tribes who own the land the pipeline actually goes through agreed to deals and they're just mad they didn't get payoff too. TM is nothing but liberal propaganda and fake news these days.

It means that some state will lose this case in the Supreme Court based on the 14th Amendment and then all states will have to reenact Obama's original interpretation.
02/23/2017 at 14:56
For all of US history until a year ago, if you looked like a dude and used the men's room, or looked like a chick and used the women's room, nobody cared. Obama's solution to the problem that didn't exist was to give perverts a legal right to invade bathrooms and locker rooms of the opposite sex.

How dare the President advocate for the Tenth Amendment and biological reality. Doesn't he know that the .0003% of the population that this will effect have feelings that are more important than the Constitution or the science of biology?

I met him a long time ago at the el paso chamber of commerce, he was polite and easy going, I thought some of the stories were exaggerated but still there must be some truth to it. How can you say he is a fake when he has done pretty good for himself, other people are praised for less.
