Perez can't stand success! Two run lead, twins bottom of the order 3 walks and a double! If Jon Daniels would have found a dominant closer with descent pitchers, would have had a couple of World Series titles already!

Even if a shave and hair cut was 200, not 2 bits, they all could afford it. CUT the hair and TRIM the beards. You will be lighter in weight and perform better. The whole manly man beard thing is way overrated

Somebody needs a haircut.
And somebody needs to shave up his face.

Chirinos is hot, I'd keep with him until he tapers off. And it looks like Odor had turned into Kinsler with all the pop-ups. He needs to stop trying to hit homers.

While I'm loving what Gallo is doing, I can't wait till Beltre is back and we figure out how to work both of them into the lineup. It's gonna be a beast!!!

Not only does profar need to get out of the lineup but he needs to get sent down to AAA. Not a true left fielder and can't hit at all. Not even coming close. Need beltre to come back and have him split 3B and DH and have choo get back in LF

Glad to see him bounce back from the back to back jacks he gave up. The first was a fluke but the second seemed to be from hanging a pitch because of rattled confidence by the last at bat. Usually when Davish gets rattled he's toast but its encouraging that he bounced back strong and hopefully that's the start of a trend.
I would love to see Yu pitch the way he used to since a Tommy John injury is quite devastating for a pitcher, who knows if he can be more intimidating like he used to be

Wish they would bring Buzz back or get someone I like. Nice to have Tom at the home games.

I know Joey was going to be great when he filled in for the injured Adrian Beltre last year. He said he's going to temporarily replace him as the 3B, play defense and get on base, then get back to work in the minors once Beltre is healed. Dude knows baseball - the game AND the business. Love the attitude on this young man.
04/23/2017 at 23:11
Love nap and all but Joey is going to have to stay up so when Beltre comes back nap is going to see more pine and Joey will be at first.
I don't have a problem with Gallo, but I do have a problem with with "The Joey Show" that seems to be 89.9% of what the media covers & congratulates (local & MLB-wide) when another player has comparable contributions to the win but gets completely overlooked!
It's Chirinos, I am talking about Robinson Chirinos!😠

So it's settled!
Make sure Tom Grieve commentates every series the Rangers play, and victory is theirs!!! So send a private jet to that man's house for away games!!!
04/23/2017 at 23:15
Hopefully they're coming around to the fact that Chirinos is on par with, if not better than Lucroy. Chirinos, at the very least, should be catching Darvish and Perez every time.
04/23/2017 at 23:39
Darvish was fantastic, and Gallo is great on defense! I believe that's 10 wins in a row over the Royals since last season! Great 4 game sweep!

Good to see Chirinos in the lineup more with the good work he's done so far with the pitchers and at bat. Hopefully more rest can snap Lucroy out of his slump.
04/23/2017 at 18:34
Profar is showing its time to move on. Guy simply can't hit so he will never be more than a utility guy. Should have traded him when we could. Maybe we can package with Darvish at the trade deadline
04/23/2017 at 22:05
Darvish was en fuego today. 70% strikes in 110 pitches. Don't you dare trade him. Let's get at least ONE full season out of our top ace.

The moment you realize Nick Martinez and AJ Griffin are our best pitchers so far in 2017...
Some of you nay-sayers are TRIPPIN!! You take away the blown saves and we've got the Astros hearing footsteps. Which they will eventually. Oh and about Cashner, it's early but his first couple of starts are looking really good. I don't think some of you actually watch the games....
04/23/2017 at 14:25
Overall, the pitching from the starters and bullpen have been stronger! Hope we keep that up because I'm sure the offense will pick it up soon!

Wish Nick was consistant...games like he had today show real talent even if it was against a struggling offense. Like the grit I saw. Just looking forward to seeing our bats come alive. We have a very dangerous ball club when firing on all cylinders.

Good Teams will make a comeback and we have the best support around to BE GREAT! Sooner or later we will be in first place and the stinky Astros be in third place WATCH! ✔

Nick Martinez was awesome tonight. Hate he didn't get the W for his effort tonight. Bullpen did its thing but 7 innings and 1 run is awesome job by Nick.

Great job by Nick Martinez! I was hoping for 5 innings and gave them 7 innings to save the bullpen. Good to see Odor go the other way in the 9th let's hope the other hitters do the same instead of going for the home run every at bat. Carlos Gomez is heating up.
04/23/2017 at 05:06
Royals starter era lowest by far than the rest of the AL coming into this series. Only allowed 4 home runs all season until they came to Texas. Better games for Texas than some are willing to admit
04/23/2017 at 03:44
Interesting how a 3 game win streak silences the negative comments. We're playing better against a team that doesn't score much. Our bats need to get nack in the groove. Go Rangers!!

None of us are perfect but he was at least trying to do something good and he sure was there and supported America on 9-11. On top of all that he loves Baseball!

I used to really dislike him as president. Now I see he was not as bad as I thought and I like him more after I read one of his books. I'd rather have him then the Donald.

I remember going to a game with a friend of mine as a kid sitting front row behind the on deck.He turned around and asked the fans which bat to use all I remember was one was black and the other wood grain, well everyone chose the black one then that at bat he went up there and hit a bomb to the upper deck in right with it! Awesome experience.
04/23/2017 at 01:48
Only 5....FIVE players in the history of the game have hit 500 hrs & 3000 hits & Palmeiro is one of them. Should be in Cooperstown

I like what the young guys are doing and how they're growing into their roles. We might not get what we want right away, but patience with them will payoff. The pitching talent will surface either with current guys or others.
04/23/2017 at 03:08
Good outing by Nick. I'll get my no hitter this season. I don't know which ranger will do it but it'll be against Houston. Those 6 games we blew would have us at 16 wins. Best in majors. We'll be fine just gotta tighten up the bullpin
04/23/2017 at 02:03
We have to have the lowest batting average in the majors.....5 guys in tonight's starting lineup batting less than .200 - yikes. Hopefully they'll get out of this funk.

Definitely love seeing Gallo improve. He looks so much better than last year. That said, I have a question for Ranger fans. I'm not sure if I'm reading to much into this. It seems to me that the others players don't like him much based on their interaction with him after home runs, etc. Seems like he doesn't get as much love as the other players when he does something good. And he seems like a guy that is a little full of himself and seems standoffish. Anyone else notice this or am I just crazy? Haha
04/22/2017 at 14:37
Joey is finally starting to get a feel for the majors. I was getting worried that this he was never going to develop into the player that the Rangers envisioned him of being.Such a huge improvement over last year. #GoRangers
yesterday at 16:34
Love Joey Gallo. Home runs! He would be good in left field with his 80 grade arm but I think platooning him would be an awful mistake. He hits righties and lefties and should be an everyday player.
