Sabina came to live at The Donkey Sanctuary in 2016 and earlier this year she had a beautiful foal called Anna F. If a mare comes to us in foal, her foal is offered the same sanctuary as her mother. These two have a close bond and live happily together at The Donkey Sanctuary.

The rehoming scheme at The Donkey Sanctuary is one of the most satisfying aspects of our work. Our guardians often tell us how much fun it is to give a loving home to these fantastic animals; the great thing is that our donkeys and mules love it too.
