Over the weekend we lost a legend and a pioneer in the great Chuck Berry. Many tributes and reflections have been released in the past 24 hours, but we found this piece from The Los Angeles Times particularly poignant. Berry was more than a riff-master, he was a poetically skilled lyricist who brought depth to a nascent genre.
