Historic castles, Game of Thrones, fish and chips! January was a swashbucklingly good month for #CheveningSMA Nicolette Bryan, who managed to explore all four countries of the United Kingdom.

She also managed to get down to some serious study for her course – an MSc in Social and Public Policy at Cardiff University. An impressive 31 days!

Nearly half of Chevening Scholars studying STEM subjects are women. Yet, around the world, men are still twice as likely to study a science-related master’s degree.
