Yesterday, The Prince of Wales visited The Parachute Regiment in Colchester to mark the 40th anniversary of HRH's appointment of Colonel-in-Chief.

HRH viewed a parade and watched an incredible display by the Red Devils. The red flag displayed by the parachutist is the same one that is folded up and given to The Prince. It is a special anniversary flag.

Today The Earl of Wessex carried out several engagements in Merseyside.

The Earl spent time at Everton Football Club's new community centre and visited one of the oldest buildings in Liverpool, the contemporary art hub The Bluecoat.

Yesterday, The Prince of Wales visited Muslim Welfare House in Finsbury Park to meet members of the community following the recent terror attack.

HRH viewed floral tributes and messages left by the public and delivered a message from The Queen: "Her Majesty's thoughts and prayers are with you all."
