That's a joke. Cabot sounds like a combat zone every 4th of July and I doubt this one will be any different. The enforcement is lax at best.

What does the proposed GOP healthcare bill mean for Arkansans?

Really bad news. Probably the closure of several rural hospitals will happen. Well over 200,000 of your fellow Arkansans will be thrown off insurance. Meanwhile, want a never-ending source of amusement? Ask Trump supporters to detail for you the ways he is making/has made America great again. The ensuing hilarity is both free and priceless.
06/24/2017 at 01:02
I doubt it'll pass. Republicans are opposing it too.
Trump's people keep getting defeated and they still think they can rule like dictators. It's actually kind of hilarious.

Why can't we go back to Insurance Companies competing with each other and the government getting out of the insurance business. If the government must be involved, try lowering the COST of medical care and pharmaceuticals. so we can truly call it affordable

Plea deal for life should have never happened. This should have been a death sentence. He took three lives and now gets to sit in prison for his life while taxpayers foot the bill. Beyond sad!
06/24/2017 at 00:27
He is really saving the state money, by pleading guilty. By pleading guilty, he has no appeal rights! The state owes his attorneys, a limited amount of money! People that would have to testify, is spared this responsibility. Odds are, he will die in prison, sooner, rather than later!
06/24/2017 at 02:01
While I agree, that a life sentence should not have even been an option, it is my understanding that the families of the victims did not want to endure the lengthy trial and appeals that would be involved in a death penalty verdict! May they all find peace in this awful time and the days to follow!

Meanwhile, in Saline county, my neighbor shoots my cat with a target arrow for sadistic pleasure, after killing another neighbors cat. Police acted like it was no big deal, didn't have time for it, and didn't even file a report.
06/24/2017 at 00:26
Very sad :-( on that note I've had a vet tell me to my face that my dog could die any minute without surgery, oh but they can't bc they're about to close and I'd have to wait til Monday. I wouldn't leave until they found another vet office that would stay late and perform it and they did, drove 20 min to the next office and had it done. Never returned to the other one again and every time anyone refers someone to them on fb I have to bite my tongue.

I don't wear any sunscreen at all. I probably have a higher chance of getting cancer with all of the chemicals in sunscreen than from the sun itself.

No. Supporting $880 billion in cuts to Medicaid would kill Arkansans. Two-thirds of rural Arkansan children depend on the program. Life time limits, yearly caps, and other methods the bill allows for insurance companies to get around the requirement to cover pre-existing conditions suggests that people will die if this bill becomes law.
No. I have called both Senator's office and asked them to VOTE NO on this bill which would be devastating to middle and low income families, senior citizens, disabled Americans, disabled veterans, women, children, and all of the most vulnerable citizens. I urge everyone to call and voice your opposition to this barbaric healthcare bill.
No. Now is the time we finally should catch up to the rest of the modern, free, industrialized world and offer universal healthcare.
