You can't help who you love. As long as consent goes both ways, all is good.
That said, I find it laughable that Labour is speaking out against this...considering their history and present stance of anti-semitism and being wilfully blind to the array of their leader's "friends".

How many more closeted homophobes are there in the Conservative party? I didn't think it would be long with the resignation of Cameron the extreme right would reemerge as it seizes control of the party. How dare Theresa May stand in the commons so noble and resplendent attack the liberal democrats over antisemitism when members of her own decrepit party are equally intolerant

There's not enough money on the face of this planet, not enough precious metal or stone nor enough oil or gas contained within it to convince me to vote for her. Mind you I suppose the way to look at it is this, to vote for her I'd have to have lost all my mental faculties to a level where I would not be allowed to vote anyway.
04/28/2017 at 10:51
How dare you! Britain left the EU. Britain did not vote for a Tory hard Brexit. But voting for Tories now is. Voting Labour, Lib Dem or Green is voting for a different softer Brexit. This is a choice we have to make now.
Just to be clear, the EU wants a positive deal with the UK including granting access to its single market, but this requires us to subscribe to some of their rules. This is no different to joining a sports club.

I am voting for Labour in this years election, both to oust the dangerous tory party but to also maintain the socialistic and people orientated aspect of the party against people like Watson who want to undo it.
04/28/2017 at 14:08
The most important election in this generation was vote to leave EU, that has been ignored by Labour, and the Liberals, the ONLY party who will ensure UK vote to leave EU is respected and actioned is the TORY party. shocking that Labour can't accept that we want to leave. Liberals are still crying.
The single biggest issue of this election is Brexit. The future of public spending in this country (and a myriad of other things) will be heavily influenced by deal we come out with (or not, as the case may be).
If you are for Brexit, then vote for Conservative, Labour, UKIP.
If you are for remaining in the EU then vote for the Lib Dems, or Green Party.

Because a foreign secretary that's insulted half the world was a strong and stable decision in the first place?

Why Boris Johnson is very good with people ok so sometimes he's politically incorrect so what the last few years l haven't seen much fun from MPs. He is very bright and a trip up here and there isn't going to hurt anyone. I for one feel as if l have been governed more by the political correct lot and it's a pain.

He's hit the nail right on the head and I agree that this is the worst pre election campaign I've seen. May sees herself as a strong and stable leader. It's about time she proved it and stopped all this mud slinging. Notice when she is touring the strong Labour areas she has a strong police escort. Ironic when she has cut Police numbers in all Forces.

I thought most of the debates were pretty pointless last time. The only one to my mind worth watching was when Nigel Farage destroyed Nick Clegg in 2014 regarding the EU, now that was amusing...

The conservatives are under police investigation, for fraud and electoral fraud, 30/of the con MPs could have lost there seats, which would have ment torries lost there majority, and this would have ment under law that the queen would have had to ask the opposition leader to form a government, THIS is why she called an election.

They are fighting a hard Brexit, not Brexit per se. They are doing more than anyone to push for more of a Norway or Swiss model, exactly what some of the reasonable leave campaigners were arguing for, not this anti-immigrant, hard 'Brexit at any cost' that May is pushing for. Leave and remain voters should be able to agree on this matter.
04/28/2017 at 07:51
I'm afraid that all this is doing is trying to split the vote. If half vote labour and the other half vote lib dems we all LOSE and the tories stay in power. To stop them we need to all pool together and vote on the same party. Labour is our only hope.
04/28/2017 at 06:31

You mean working to distort democracy and limiting the choices of voters. Gonna be plenty of Lib Dem voters in Brighton who dont particularly want to vote Green who have been disenfranchised. If you follow this path you will find UKIP and the Tories doing the same and that would utterly ruin the left.

1 poll after Corbyn has made a vast swarm of completely un-costed promises with 6 weeks to go. Tax the rich and hit corporations he will no doubt say.. because high worth individuals are well known for hanging around to be socialist governments cash cows and targeting businesses and their high earners with Brexit on the way is a fantastic idea.. If they leave we will all be more equal tho! Success! Poverty will come down as its a relative equation without a single person getting richer.

People ACTUALLY believing Corbyn supports the IRA is laughable and proof our media have far too much power and people believe anything!!!

Amazing how it can be acceptable for people who lead this country to throw around ad hominum attacks on a constant basis :(
Great example on how to behave :/
04/27/2017 at 12:04
Boris Johnson should focus on policies rather than personal attacks. This is not the US where politics is all about personalities (which Corbyn lacks); in the UK politics is still about ideas and not some cheap kindergarten level mudslinging - or at least I hope so!

I don't think there are many in the labour party who "can't stand" Jeremy Corbyn but if you, like me, do not think he is our best option, just stop and think what you are voting for. Labour policies. Don't vote Corbyn, vote Labour.

Arrogant, badly researched and lazy journalism. Corbyn's policies aren't 'Hard left', he'd be centre left in any other country. People that want massive face melting weapons calling those that don't extremist.

I can't understand why any one (apart from the super rich) would vote for Tory Britain.
Corbyn is addressing points that matters to pretty much most common folk in Britain, and May turns it into a Pantomime.. Shows which representative is taking us more seriously

There's something incredibly unsettling about watching the Tory side of the chamber smirk and snigger in debates about the welfare of our elderly. You'd be an absolute fool to thinking a vote for Conservative will protect your pensions.
04/26/2017 at 15:46
Mrs May is not interested in pensioners living on their modest incomes. She likes the ones with big money and investments that´s the people she wants to keep her in power. Of course if she can hood wink those pensioners on modest incomes in thinking they better off under a Conservative Government and get them to vote Conservative all the better, she will welcome it.
04/26/2017 at 17:59
It's true though. They are going to cut pensions and raise taxes. Normally that would lose any party an election. But this time they are all powerful.

Yes, the tuition fees thing is crucial, especially if we're going to survive outside of The EU. We'll need to make things easier for British students and make training a priority across the board.
