The Government of Somalia has launched an oral cholera vaccination (OCV) campaign today with the support of WHO, targeting over 450 000 people in seven high-risk areas around the country. It is the first OCV campaign to be conducted in the country.

It's World Meteorological Day!

This year we are celebrating the new International Cloud Atlas. For the first time in 30 years, the World Meterological Organization has undertaken a major revision of the Atlas to produce a user-friendly, digital-based version, including new types of cloud.
