Proverbs says, “As a man thinks in his heart, so he is.” Your life will go in the direction of your most prominent thoughts. If you want victory, start thinking and believing you are more than a conqueror. If you want your life to be all that it can be, take captive your thoughts. Renewing and transforming your mind can start today. Create possibilities in your mind. Create an atmosphere where...

In Matthew 20:26, Jesus said if you want to be great in the Kingdom of God, you have to be a servant. Jesus' concept of a great life isn't marked by having success, position or authority. Although there’s nothing wrong with those things, God wants to bless you. The key to a great life and true fulfillment comes through serving others. A great leader is a great servant.

I love to read the Psalms. I love how David always had something powerful to say about our God. He declared, “I will say of the Lord, You are my strength, my refuge, my fortress, my God in whom I trust.” All throughout the Psalms, David proclaims who his God is. Faithful. True. Deliverer. Protector.

What are you saying about your God, today? We ought to take a lesson from David and say...

I remember not long ago when my daughter was applying for college. She applied to several schools and was so excited. She knew it would take a little while to get an answer, but it just seemed like it took much longer than expected. She would check online for an answer almost daily. With no response, she began to get discouraged during the waiting process.

Sometimes in life, we have to wait....

Above all else, guard your heart because out of it flows the issues of life. Guard your thinking and protect your heart. Whatever you allow in your heart will push you around. Change the Atmosphere (Guard Your Heart)

When you put good in eventually good will come out. When you focus your thoughts on what God says about you, on things of excellence, you’ll change the atmos...

In Matthew 22, Jesus talked about two of the greatest commandments. The first is to love God; the second is like it, to love your neighbor as yourself. Notice that there are three connections in those two commands: the connection between you and God, the connection between you and others, and your connection with yourself. The bottom line is that you can’t love others if you don’t love...

One day, Joel and I were walking in the park talking about the goodness of God. I was talking about how I was so happy and felt so overwhelmed by God’s blessings. When I think about our family and the opportunities before us, when I think about what a great privilege it is to share the message of hope with so many people, I am so grateful! As I was sharing my heart with Joel, I heard myself...

If we're going to bring forth the promises that God has for us, we’re going to have to do it with cheerful endurance. The scripture talks about the farmer who waits for his crops with great expectation and enthusiasm. There is an appointed time. Sometimes how we wait determines how long we wait. God wants us to develop the strength of patience. Don’t jump ahead of God. We don’t want to birth...

Today and every day, God has a plan for your success! He tells us in His Word that His plans are for good—to prosper you, not to harm you, to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11) As we move forward in life we can’t just ask, “God, what are You going to do for me?” Instead, we have to ask, “God, what are we going to do together?”

Yes, God is at work in our lives, but we have to do our...
