Minimalist and functional yet stylish and innovative, our designs are often seen worldwide as always trendy under the “less is more” mantra and Stockholm remains the epicenter... View more »

Are you thinking about visiting the Stockholm archipelago? Here’s another great insider tip by archipelago crime queen Viveca Sten!

The gorgeous Thielska Galleriet is open until 8 pm on Thursdays. Let us suggest a glass of wine and a shrimp sallad in the garden, the setting is fantastic with its archipelago wilderness feeling. We also like the dining hall at Spritmuseum for their great selection of drinks and Champagne tasting.

The Pålsund strait runs between the islands of Södermalm and Långholmen, leading to the Långholmen canal in the west, and out into the bay Riddarfjärden to the east. This is a beautiful area for picnics, walking and paddling. Or, on a warm summer's day, just cross one of the bridges to Långholmen or Kungsholmen for a nice swim in the waters of Stockholm.

There's just something special about Sunday pizza. But in some cases, the pizzas are so extra special it doesn't matter what day it is. Swing by Giro, Omnipollos hatt, Panefresco, Bananas Meno Male or Babette, Roslagsgatan 6, Stockholm (just to mention a few). Buon appetito!

If you wander through Gamla stan you can soon find a tiny alley called Mårten Trotzigs Gränd (or Alley of Marten Trotzig), which is the narrowest street in Stockholm. It runs from Prästgatan to Västerlånggatan and at the narrowest point the width of the alley is just 90 centimeters. For more information about Gamla Stan: [ Bit.ly Link ]

Have you checked out Viveca Sten's guide to the Stockholm Archipelago? Here's one of her suggestions!

"What better way to journey through the archipelago than in the most classic way possible: by steamboat. M/S Norrskär takes the scenic route in the waters between the islands and gives you a perfect opportunity to have a classic steamboat steak – “ångbåtsbiff” – for dinner."
