I find the subtitles on Alastair Hutton's short video on the Toast to the Lassies very annoying not only because it is totally unnecessary but also because it contains errors e.g. calls him 'Alice' instead of Alastair; says 'fast' instead of farce!!

and my favourite haggis has turned out to be made from pig offal rather than sheep.

I took this photo in the 1980's whilst staying in a holiday bungalow at Glen Nevis Camp Site. The back garden overlooked Glen Nevis where a family of Highland Cows roamed. The cow couldn't reach the leaves on the tree and my husband held the branch down for him, you can see the cow watching my husband all the time!

We had a lovely summer day here when the kids were litlle until the midges came out at dusk and poor wee Lucy was covered in bites. Next day her sensitive, loving, big brother George told her teachers at school his sister had fleas. Lucy Anne Lewis Karen Pearson

It was the most blustery, rainy day when we visited Orkney and The Stones of Stenness three and a half years ago, but it was truly my most favourite of the islands we visited over our two weeks.., and one of the most exciting, memorable, and magical days! (Me being photographed while taking photographs!)
01/14/2017 at 14:35
I don't remember this place, before, I don't even been there either, think I will have to visit there one day soon at the Stones of Stenness. that is a great photo.
01/14/2017 at 15:25
I went with a friend a few years ago for 10 days. We stayed in the hostel across from the pier that takes you to other outer islands. We were able to walk a block away to the information center and place where we could pick up buses to take us to all the amazing prehistoric sites that predate Stonehenge and the Pyramids. It was a life changing experience that helps you understand the early people who lived there.
