Continuing Grammy Week – Whitney won her second Grammy on March 2, 1988 for Best Pop Performance, Female for the song “I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me).” The ceremony was held in New York City at Radio City Music Hall, which was a rare occurrence for the Recording Academy / GRAMMYs. Whitney was presented the award by Anita Baker and Robbie Robertson that night.
It's Grammy week. Here is Whitney when she received her first Recording Academy / GRAMMYs Award, for "Best Pop Performance, Female" for the song "Saving All My Love For You." The ceremony was held on February 25, 1986 at The Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles, Calfornia. The award was presented to her by her cousin Dionne Warwick and Julian Lennon. She was 22 years old.
