Today marks the end of this liturgical year with the Solemnity of Christ the King. Let us ask our Lord to build His Kingdom within you! Have a beautiful Sunday!
The Holy Year of Mercy will officially end on November 20th, the Solemnity of Christ the King, when Pope Francis will close the Holy Door at St. Peter’s Basilica. It was opened on Dec. 8, 2015, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception.

On November 13th there was a special concert to celebrate the fruits of WYD in Krakow. The concert, called „Bóg liczy na Ciebie” (God Counts On You), gathered about 15 thousand young people: participants, visitors, artists and organizers of World Youth Day.

The event was broadcasted in Polish but some songs are in English. Rekindle that WYD light within and enjoy!

Seeds and fruits of the WYD

During WYD #Krakow2016 on July 30th, Pope Francis paid a visit to the Chapel of St Faustina Kowalska. While there, he blessed the picture of Jesus Merciful, and later prayed before the tomb of St Faustina. At the conclusion of his visit, the Holy Father signed the guest book, adding, in Spanish, the words, “I desire mercy, and not sacrifices.”
